Miguel was raised in southeastern Wisconsin and it was in downtown Milwaukee, where as a young man in his 20's, he walked into a bookstore one day and picked up "The Inner Life" by Charles Leadbeater. Thus, Mr. Leadbeater was his introduction to Theosophy. His introduction, however brief, was never forgotten. Having lost his spiritual footing for many years thereafter, Theosophy once again called him back. Today Miguel resides in Frederick, Maryland where he is a member of the Washington D.C. Lodge of the Theosophical Society. Miguel is also a member of the Tibetan Meditation Center in Frederick where he studies under the Drikung Kagyu lineage. Miguel believes that his more recent study of Theosophical writings and Theosophical views has created a sound foundation for his meditation, contemplation, study, and practice of the Buddhist Dharma. 2011. 51 minutes.
