Imagination as Creative Force(CD)

*Select an option

We often dismiss the imagination as being essentially unreal or unimportant. The presenters strongly disagree with such a point of view, because it ignores the tremendous potential for creative expression inherent in the faculty of human imagination. Many religions, in fact, depict the universe itself as being formed by an act of divine thought or imagination on the part of the Creator, without which the universe would not have come into manifestation. Laurence and Phoebe Bendit explain how our human imagination has the same divine quality, albeit on a much lesser scale. 1961. 65 minutes.
