At the Feet of the Master by Jiddu Krishnamurti is a perennial favorite with Theosophists and other spiritual seekers for its clear and simple exposition of precepts relating to living a spiritual life. It was first published in 1910 when Krishnamurti was a young boy in India. The book lists four main qualifications that the aspirant or disciple must attain in order to become ready for Initiation on the Path: spiritual discrimination, desirelessness, good conduct, and love.
