Grace F. Knoche

Grace F. Knoche (1906-2006) was born at the theosophical headquarters of Point Loma, California, where she attended Katherine Tingley’s Raja-Yoga School and Academy. She continued her studies at the Theosophical University, receiving a Ph.D. in 1944 with a thesis on “Theosophy in the Qabalah.” Grace assisted Gottfried de Purucker in revising the Encyclopedic Glossary, and helped to publish Purucker’s The Dialogues of G. de Purucker and Fountain Source of Occultism. She worked to establish a spirit of cooperation among the various theosophical organizations. Her books include The Mystery Schools, to Light a Thousand Lamps, and Theosophy in the Qabalah.
