H. J. Arnikar, Ph. D., is Professor Emeritus in Chemistry in the University of Pune (India) with considerable experience in research. He has worked in College de France, Paris, in the laboratories of Frederic Joliot-Curie, and obtained his D.Sc. Later, he worked as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar with Dr. John E. Willard, at the University of Wisconsin. He also served as an international consultant to UNESCO, working with a pilot program for the teaching of chemistry in Southeast Asia, in Bangkok. He was elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry in 1988.
